Leading Edge: Our two piece housing design allows us to have a patented leading edge on the inner housing to goes into the magazine tube. This guarantees flawless feeding by eliminating the catch point at the transition from the extension to the magazine tube! There is not other magazine extension on the market that can say this!

Why it matters: We don’t believe in adding rounds at the cost of reliability… Glock itself, Ruger, and other pistol manufacturers have never produced more than a Plus 2 extension. Why? Because when you add more than 2 rounds to a double stack magazine, the follower leaves the magazine body and can catch on the way back up. Competitive Glock 19 magazine extension manufactures discretely suggest to grind down or shorten the follower to mitigate this is. We refuse to ever have you modify a factory part and shortening the follower can bring follower tilt into play which leads to feeding issues and last round hold back. 5 Points of Engagement: Other Glock 19 mag extensions rely on only 2 points of engagement being the magazine baseplate rails and either a set screw, thin stamped metal retainer or spring pins. Our design uses 5:

1. The tabs on the magazine body (like an OEM magazine baseplate)
2. The spring and spring button (like an oem baseplate)
3. Interlocking keying features between our inner and outer housing
4. Our leading edge from the inner housing
5. The base plate rails our outer housing engages

The fit of the magazine adaptor was optimized as the best Gen 5 Glock 29 extended mag. Filing may be required for prior generations. Dedicated .45 ACP options to follow, but this product will not fit the Glock 30.

The XTech MAG-ADAPT 29-15 is the ONLY dedicated Glock 29 magazine sleeve on the market. Why is ours dedicated to 10mm only? The 10mm Glock magazines are .005″ smaller than the 45 ACP magazines. Which equates to the sleeve not being tight on the magazine, which is our world is a no go!

The factory magazine baseplates have a slick sidewall which lead to a challenge with indexing for insertion and rapid extraction. Our side scallops solve both of these issues.

The dot matrix on the bottom of the baseplate also allows you to use a drop of paint or a silver sharpie to easily identify your magazines.
